Dr. Andrew Crosbie
Dr Andrew Crosbie IMC registered no 14373 a Cork native graduated from UCC in 1990. He completed post graduate general practice training at the college of surgeons in Dublin obtaining memberships of both the Irish and Uk colleges if General Practice as well as diplomas in child health and medicine for the elderly both of which remain keen interests since.
He also spent a year at the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin doing perinatal medicine. Following this he spent some years in the UK as a GP partner first in Cambridge then Norwich and subsequently returned home taking over Dr Michael Dunnes' clinical Practice at Elmwood.
In 2008 his medical partners and himself decided to redevelop this practice and moved across the road to the current building, the aim of which was and is to keep as many primary care specialities under the one roof.
Dr Andrew has many interests which run alongside his clinical work. These include computerisation and clinical IT, and medical graphics relating to digital signage. He is a director of Southdoc representing (with others) Cork City GPs and has served as Chairman.
