Dr. Patricia Ryan

Dr. Patricia Ryan graduated from UCC in 2004 with an honours MB BCH BAO Bmed Sci degree.

Following graduation, she gained valuable experience in emergency medicine and psychiatry in Brisbane, Australia. She returned to Ireland in 2006 and worked in local hospitals. She completed the Cork GP training scheme in 2011 having trained in Bandon and Newmarket and has worked as a GP in the local area since then.

She undertook a number of post graduate studies including Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry, Diploma in Diabetes in Primary Care, Family Planning Certificate and Advanced Certificate in Contraception.

She has a special interest in women’s health, subfertility/infertility and paediatrics.

She is a registered smear taker and is competent in Implanon, Mirena and Copper coil insertion.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with husband Ger and their twin daughters.
